Thank you for your support in the August Primary. Now let's finish strong together: I'm asking for your vote in the General Election on Tuesday, November 3.
For over three decades, I've been an active, committed member of the Brooklyn Center community — as a neighbor, election judge, and public servant.
My perspective is shaped by 40+ years of experience in journalism and mass communications, library and information science, arts and museum education, multicultural organizations, and interfaith collaboration.
As Chair of the Cultural and Public Arts Commission and a Sister Cities Commissioner, I've spent years meeting the people of our City and building bridges across Brooklyn Center's wonderfully diverse population — work I now want to bring to the City Council.
